Changes to my study program

 Hi everyone! Samy here.

Today I will talk about some things that I don´t really like about my study program and how they can fix it.

If you like cinema probably you would see a lot of movies or series, but theres no subject about it in the curriculum. I would like to know more about different kind of movies and not just "how to make a movie". Also, I would like to know more about the differences between movies of different countrys. Why make special the corean movies? Is it the same as the Italian movies?.

I think it would very good if the curriculum had a special subject about how to use specialized programs so we had more tools to deal with this area, specially with sound programs.

About the faculty facilities, ICEI had a very poor area for cinema students. Most part of the building si for journalists. I think cinema students do not have the adequate space to can do all the classes. Specially computer rooms.

ICEI have a lot of defects, but I think the most important thing is the toilet rooms. They are always closed! and the student need to go far away into others faculties.

Despite all this things, I like to study in the ICEI. I have a lot of good memories and make excellent friends. Also, I learn a lot of thinks and I´m grateful of all of this years

Time Travel in the future

    Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about a time I would like to go in future. This is a very difficult decision to me because, as we all know, the future don’t look very promising due to the careless way humanity overexploit the planet`s nature. I think I would like to travel to 2050 so I can see what will happen about the planet´s deadline. Secondly, to that date my son will have 32 years old, so I would visit him to see how he is doing in life. Thirdly, I would like to visit some important monuments to know if they still in good conditions. I think there is not too much to visit. Probably a lot of countries will be on war because of the few water and food reserves. I would like to be wrong, and maybe the shortage of water will not be a problem, or maybe the humanity will find another planet to live. I just hope that my son has a relaxing and safe future to live in. But this is just a dream if we keep doing things badly as todays. We need to start doing real things to help the planet. Recycle is not enough. In conclusion, I don’t expect a good future, I just would like to travel to see if we did.

My dream job

    Hi everyone! Since I was in school I wanted to study Psychology to can help people to feel better. Another reason why I wanted to became a psychologist was I think I needed a "conventional" job. I can´t achieved the score needed to get on the carear so I decided to get into Bachillerato and then can be transferred to psychology. But in the final part of my fist year I realize that I was always loved and enjoyed made videos not just like a hobbie, so I decided to be transferred to Cine y TV career to study cinema. 

I think it was a good decision because I really love this. I don´t really like photo and sound classes so much, but I really like editing and producer areas and actually I can´t decide which one is better for me. I would like to become an important Producer so I can travel around the world working in different kind of movies, organizing and be in charge of the different departments. But also I would like to editing movies, because I think this is one of the most important things in a movie. At this moment i´m very happy with my decision.

The best Holidays ever

 Hi everyone! Today I Would like to talk about one of my best holidays.

Almost every summer on vacations I used to travel to the south of Chile, but in 2017 I and my girlfriend Camila decided to travel to Rocas de Santo Domingo. This place is at the central coast of Chile. Camila´s aunt lives there, but she wasn´t in her house those days so we stayed at her place. We take a bus to get there. The house was beautiful and big. Also had a big garden and was very near to the beach. The only problem was it had a lot of spiders and I hate them! We enjoyed riding bicycle for very fist time around the town and walk along just talking. Some days we liked to dinner or drink some hot chocolate in a spot we discover at the shore of the beach. Also, we take a bus to go to Santiago. I definitely had a great time that summer. It was our first vacations together and was awesome!

A Country you´d like to visit.

        Since I was younger I would like to visit England but I didn't know why. When I was 17, my friend Felipe and I had the opportunity to participate in a science fair at Belgium almost free of charge, so we decided to travel one week early to visit some part of Europe. We visited France and England!. We just stayed 3 days at England so we walked all day to can see all the places. In that 3 days I fell in love with London for many reasons. At first, people is too nice and gentile anywhere. The streets are so clean and the building are extremely gorgeous. Another thing is the food, cause the classic Fish and Chips its a fantastic typical food. And History is everywhere! But the best things is the weather cause I love cold and rainy days! Definitely 3 incredible days. I would definitely like to return with my family and maybe move to London. See you around the world!

free theme

Hi everyone!

Today its a free theme post, and as always I haven’t ideas to talking about (im not a creative person). So, I’m going to talk about 1 of my passions, Wrestling.

Wrestling is a sport/show competition where 2 or more person (man or woman) fight in a predeterminated outcome with specific rules (or not) in a ring. Mostly, the winner is the firt who can put the other wrestler in the floor and stay 3 seconds on him (or her)

Wrestling is a very popular sport in US, and not so much in Chile, but in this days it become so much popular. 

Actually, in US wrestling becomes in a tv show where it have stories about drama, action or comedy between wrestlers.

Probably you know or at least hear about some wrestlers like Jhon Cena, Undertaker, Triple H, because they are very popular around the world, but actually they are pretty old

Some people say all of it is fake, but actually, I did wrestling in a Chilean wrestling school and know how it works. Yes, it is predeterminated outcome, yes, it have choreographies, but it is pretty real. You need to be in an excellent physical condition, have a lot of coordination, and be pretty dedicated.

I really love it!

A subject I have enjoyed studying this semester

Hey guys!

Today im gonna talk about a subject I like too much.

I’m in third semester of Cine y Television career and I have 8 very interesting subjects. But actually, there´s one of them that I like more than the others, and it is “Guión”.

In Guión we analyze different Chileans movies scripts and see how they are composed and why it works. 

Every class we see some short film or a movie scene and then we talk about what are the principal components, how it are structured, how characters evolve and what make it possible. Then, we read the movie script and do a similar exercise comparing the script vs the movie.

The most important thing that we do in Guión is work in our own story. We imagine some story about anything and then transform it in a script, and make it better (in home) for every class.

My script is about 2 friends who needs to go to a bank, and they are stolen in the way

I really like it because I learn how to white a very good scripts and I can apply it on my future movies or series.
